American Curriculum and VCE. HELP!!!!?

Can you study school on an american curriculum until year 12 and then write the VCE final exams in Australia? Is there much difference between the Australian and American curriculum? I might start at an american Online Homeschool and need to know if I would be able to pass final exams in Victoria, Australia.
Come on guys, easy 10 points here, all I need to know is whether the American and Australian maths and english curriculum similar or the same.

I don't know for certain but I would guess probably not.
I purchased grammar and science curriculum from Singapore for my daughter a couple of yrs ago. There is a huge difference in terminology and spelling. I don't know specifically about Australia, but I believe you use British English terms and spellings.....

IE ....... Colour, favour etc where in the US we spell those words color, favor.
