What do you find to be the most challenging about home schooling?
You are all going to get sick of me asking questions...hehe
I asked yesterday about home schooling--- my husband and I have been talking about it a lot and I have been talking to my friends about it. Also a women from Church used to be an evaluator.
Today a 2nd grader told my 6 yr old son that he was going to "kill him" at recess. That is the last straw for me. I cannot let my children be exposed to abuse like that.
I am wondering what you all find to be the most challenging aspect of home schooling and how you work it out.

The most challenging part is learning not to compare yourself and family with others. To accept that you know what is best for your children and not doubting it. Accepting that people have opinions about your choices but those are there opinions and they are entitled to them but you are also entitled to yours. As far as day to day life. Establish a routine but don't write it in stone. Allow time for fun and games, parks and picnics. Learn together, play together, love each other. Give yourself time to adjust and make changes as you see fit. Accept that you'll make mistakes and learn from them. God bless you
